As things stand, it's a) taking very long, b) imposes much load on the servers, and c) makes your syncing very slow... We know about all that and are thinking about ways to improve this. It's likely we embed the files in a seperate database as well, this will cure c). Then we could precook this database on our servers which would improve a) and b). As for Frodo or Vice, that's very tough given that we max out the iPhone already -- and we're not even emulating all the chips.
