From 2001 to 2006, I used to work at the department of computer science in the Frankfurt University as a researcher for mobile distributed systems and middleware. Since September 2006, I’m working as an IT-Freelancer specialized in (Embedded) Linux consulting, training, and engineering.
To the right, you can see the Frankfurt/Main Exhibition Tower — or “Messeturm”, how we call it here. At the top is a picture of the skyline. I’m located in Frankfurt/Main and I’m pleased living in this town. This is where I have been born and where all my friends are located.
Frankfurt/Main and the people who live in here share a reputation of being somewhat distant — this may or may not origin from all the banking and insurance business that’s going on here — but it has a rich culture and nice inhabitants… once you get to know them.
